Priority 1:
The Coconut Resort is highly accessible for all guests. There is handicapped parking on the right side of the front entrance. Each parking spot will have atleast an 8-foot wide access aisle on each side. There is a slip resistant sidewalk leading up to the front doors with no elevation gain or loss. There will be working assistants to usher the guests into the hotel. There are accessible buttons to open every exterior door. Every door, exterior and interior, in every building will have accessible door handles.
Priority 2:
All of the doorways will be a minimum of 46 inches wide with accessible handles. Every hallway on all floors with will have a 5-foot circle for turning a wheelchair completely. In every room there will be both flashing lights and audible signals for emergencies. Every room will have appropraite size signs with Braille and pictograms. All of the tables in the Restaurant, Bar, and Banquet Hall will be able to seat wheelchairs comfortabley throughout each room. The elevator will have Braille on all floor buttons with audible door opening and closing at each floor.
Priority 3:
Each restroom and locker room will have appropriate labeling signs with Braille and pictograms. Each restroom and locker room will have at least one stall with 5 feet by 5 feet space and railings on all sides of the stall. Each stall will have accessible locks on all doors. Each room will also have atleast one sink and mirror with accessible heights and widths. All faucets, soap dispensers, and hand dryers will all be in reach range and accessible to be turned on and off.
Priority 4:
There will be drinking fountains on the main floor and by the outside pools that will have accessible spacing and heights. The buttons will be located on the front side of the faucet. Each guest room will have an accessible telephone. The telephone will have volume control with appropriate signage. All telephones will also have push bottons to be accessible for everyone.
